LE RULES! APPLICATION! - FACE CLAIM! - ADVERTISING!
WANTED!
The sun, the stars, the beaches! In California, there is everything you could’ve wished for, and more. And in the small town of Creston Valley, the more is sometimes too much to handle. Founded by John H. Creston in 1613, Creston Valley is known as one of the oldest, and most historic, towns in Cali. Though it has had some renovations, some of the older buildings are still standing. And in Creston Valley, everyone knows everyone and their grandmother, secrets are few and far between, football is a religion, and everyone is hoping to make it big someday. And at Creston Valley High School, the competition is tough. All the kids have talent, and all the mothers know it. The school talent show is the busiest time of year here, and, not being far from Los Angeles, talent scouts are known to show up every once in a while. And when that happens, the people are in a frenzy. The frugal fathers whip out their wallets to let their girls go shopping, the macho guys go to music and acting lessons, and the mothers, well, let’s just say they morph into the worst kind of monster. It’s not just the talent show that gets this town going. Any inkling of news they hear about a chance at the big time has the people of Creston Valley on edge. But it’s not all competition drama. The high school crowd creates the type of drama every high school in the world is known for: teenage drama. Boyfriends stabbing you in the back and your best friends turning the knife, break-ups, make-up’s, and slip-up’s, and you can’t forget about teenage pregnancies. In the summer, the beach is where it’s at. The beaches of Creston Valley are some of the nicest in the state. The sand is white, the waters are blue, and believe it or not, but there is a coral reef a little ways off the coast. The waves are always big enough for surfing, and sometimes, celebrities even come out to catch a few and just relax. There is always something to do in the summer. Well, when you’re not rehearsing that is. And then in the winter, oh the parties that go down… In Creston Valley, people hear the word winter, and they automatically think parties. The Christmas parties, the New Year’s parties, the Chinese New Year’s parties! Any excuse to party, oh the kids will take it. The kids can get pretty wild and crazy... They will do anything if dared, and there is no backing down. In Creston Valley, crime doesn’t exist. People sleep with their doors unlocked, and if a child does something bad or illegal.. Well, according to the mothers, that never happens. It’s like the police station doesn’t even need to be there. The biggest crime in this town is being a better musician or actor than your best friend. The stress level of these children is high up there. They are pushed to be good in school, be a good musician, and keep up a good image. They are pushed to be the leads in every school and community play. If you’re up against a friend for a role, well, good luck staying friends. At times it may seem like everyone is getting along, but you can never forget that the competition and the rivalries will always exist. Remember, you can take the person out of the competition, but you can’t take the competition out of the person. In a town where the competitions tough, the mothers are rough, and privacy doesn’t exist, will you lose it all or will you be able to say HEY THERE MONDAY
