Welcome to Somerset High School, home of the Warriors
Located just outside of New York City, established in 1913 by Robert Somerset, we are a public boarding school. This means free education and boarding for students that choose to live on campus, with a yearly $3,000 meal plan. For students that require financial help, we have many programs to provide assistance.
We are a non-uniform school. We trust that our students will make appropriate clothing choices in class and around campus. If a student is found to be wearing something deemed inappropriate, they will be escorted to their dorm by a teacher to pick something else out. If the student doesn't live on campus, they will be sent to In School Suspension of the rest of the day.
Students of the opposite sex are not allowed in each other's dorms past ten o'clock on school nights; on weekends and school breaks, the curfew is changed to midnight. Students found breaking this rule will be subject for expulsion.
