Whitley dipped her head and glanced down at the sandals on her feet, before looking up, letting her light blue eyes take in the atmosphere around her. She was indulging herself a little by going on a little mini-shopping spree. Things had been… interesting lately to say the least. She had been doing some things that weren’t her usual forte, but for whatever reason she couldn’t really find the want to say no. The one thing she liked about this place, was that no one really knew her. They didn’t know what she was like back home and it was kind of interesting, to her at least, to see this other side of her.
She had never really been in a position to be the flirty type of girl, but she found that being single and having a guy be somewhat attracted to you can change your ways, just a little bit. Like with Landon, she didn’t normally sleep around – that wasn’t her thing – but for whatever reason the first time she met him, she just couldn’t turn away from the opportunity that he gave her. She really wasn’t sleeping with anyone else, but there thing was more of a casual, maybe friends-with-benefits sort of thing.
Shrugging the thought away she turned her attention to the Starbucks inside of the mall and smiled, she could really use a vanilla bean frappachino right about now. Moving her thin frame through the crowd of people, she wound up in front of the barista and ordered, paying and stepping back casually waiting for her drink to arrive. Running a hand through her dark hair, she wondered what she could do after shopping. She still hadn’t made very many friends around here, but she was really hoping to make some soon. She had made a friend in Noelle after giving her car a jump her first week here at the school and well, of course there was Landon and Max whom she had run in to a couple of times, but other than that, no one else. It seemed like everyone around Lincoln Heights was always busy or in a rush to go somewhere else.
Taking her frappachino from the barista, she sipped the cool liquid and let out a small ‘ahh’ as it instantly cooled her down. She was enjoying her little shopping spree, but she could really use some company. Sighing she settled down at a table just off of the Starbucks area and sat down. Letting her bags rest on the ground, she crossed her legs and tipped her head back, taking a deep breath. This was exactly what she needed though, to clear her head, do some shopping and get a little Starbucks R&R.

Landon put the finishing touches on his hair turning his head this way and that to make sure he got it all. He tilted his head and scrunched up his nose a bit before giving a small shrug. Oh well.. it would do. Anyone looking would think his hair was fine, but to landon there was always something wrong. Landon didnt usually let his insecurities out unless something provoked it. Usually that was after something to do with his parents. Landon resisted the urge to just mess it up and say fuck it, but knew hed just have to go through his whole fixing it routine again if he did so.
Looking away from the mirror he headed over to his closet. Hed just gotten out of the shower, not really having a plan of doing anything except get dressed and maybe bum around until later when he knew there would be something going on at the clubs, or a party or something. As he searched through his clothes his nose scrunched up further and further. Nothing was catching his attention. He huffed a bit. He needed some new clothes. It had been a few weeks since hed gotten anything new. It was definitely time for a new wardrobe.
Pulling out a navy blue t shirt and a pair of his favorite blue jeans he quickly got dressed. The jeans fit well to him and showed off his ass, something he liked to do. He normally always got comments on his ass. He critiqued it some more deciding maybe hed lay off of more starch this week. Grabbing his cards and a bit of cash just in case he headed out of his room.
Landon glanced around the shopping center, debating which store to go into. The fact that he really wasnt in the mood to shop was probably the problem. Normally he had to be in the mood, in fact he didnt get most of his energy until later on in the day because then it was like his inner clock knew what was giong on. He mumbled something about just going back and veging out in his room when he passed by the starbucks and spotted a familiar face.
Brows raising he smirked tilting his head a bit. ... why not. heading towards her table he took a seat, well plopped down was more like it. hey.he said. alone?he quirked a brow not seeing another drink at the table or pushed out chairs. what have you been up to?he asked. Well he was bored as fuck and for the most part they entertained each other on several occasions.

Whitley sipped at her frappachino, enjoying the sweet blend of vanilla bean. She usually didn't spend 6 dollars on a cup of coffee, but it was nice to splurge every now and then. She thought it was kind of ridiculous to pay that much for a dirnk, but nevertheless it tasted really good and it was giving her an energy boost. She felt so drained from school, which was part of why she was giving herself this little shopping trip. Whit was pretty pleased with the things she had gotten so far, she ran through the rest of the stores that she wanted to stop in, one of them being Victoria Secret, she needed some new bras and panties - that was one of her favorite splurges. She could never have too many of either. Whitley was probably going to stop there next, chewing on her straw absently, she let her attention move to the people that were moving around her.
People always seemed to grab Whitley's attention. There were so many different people out there, that it was fun to just kick back and watch them as they walked past, going about their business not even knowing she was there. Her lips pursed together as a group of girls walked by her. Her brows crinkled together as she watched them, they were probably a little younger than her but looked completely fake. Fake tans, fake hair, fake... everything. She wondered if they even knew who they really were. She doubted it, they probably molded themselves to be these perfect little barbie dolls. Whitley rolled her eyes, how people could be like that amazed her. She had never died her hair, had never done the tanning beds and wouldn't dream of enhancing anything else on her body unnaturally. The only things she had ever done to change herself were a good hair cut and a good work out here and there. She hated the idea of being like everyone else, it annoyed her really. She just wished people these days would just be themselves and stop trying to be what everyone else wants them to be.
Her bright blue eyes followed a couple and she smiled a little bit, she remembered being like that. Happy and in love, holding hands or holding each other. She had to admit she kind of missed that, but she didn't miss him. She couldn't. Not after the things he had put her through. Shaking her head, Whitley was literally snapped out of her thoughts by a familiar voice. Her eyes widened a little bit when she saw a familiar, handsome face. A small grin spread across her face, "Hey..." She bit down on her bottom lip and looked down at the drink in front of her. "No, you just sat on my imaginary boyfriend." She snickered and rolled her eyes. She lifted her shoulders slightly and played with her straw, "Same ol', I suppose.... school, sketching and stuff... and just hanging out." Whitley purposely left out the fact that she was hiding from her ex, who had tried to contact her again. Biting down on her bottom lip, she gave him a small smile, "What about you, Landon... what have you been up to?"
