Benjamin always had the power to make Aubry strangely comfortable. She was usually anxious and uncomfortable around any men, but around him she seemed calmer. Maybe because he was somewhat laid back, and didn't go straight for sex with her. That must be it.
They had been in the chat for a good hour talking. Aubry had a small grin on her face the whole time. Benji complained about putting his picture up, and she begged him to put one up. Of course he'd make her laugh by complaining he got hurt from doing such a task.
The more she talked to him, the more she wanted to go over and see him again. When he agreed to her coming over, she smiled, blushing slightly. She shut her net book and stood up, walking over to the mirror hung on the wall beside her bed. She tilted her head, absently reaching for the soft brush. She ran it through her hair quickly, giving it a shiny gloss. She tilted her head the other way and her smile faded. The humidity from the constant raining made her hair poofy. She grabbed a hair tie and put her hair up in a loose ponytail. Some strands of hair fell to her jaw line and her bangs fell in her face. She looked alright.
After slipping on some shoes and her coat, Aubry grabbed two Pepsi's from the fridge and walked out the door.
The weather was worse than she had expected. It wasn't only raining and hailing. It was super windy out, also. Aubry frowned as a gust of icy wind hit her face.
She put her hood over her head and ran across the parking lot, keeping her eyes squinted. After she made it past the parking lot, she crossed the busy street, running to the boys dorms. She jogged quickly down the rooms and stopped, coming across his.
She knocked twice as a quick warning she was coming in. She went to open the door a slight crack, but the wind caught it and the door swung open. Aubry squealed and ran in, grabbing the door and slamming it shut. She turned around, pressing her back to it, she leaned her head back and sighed.
"Goodness..." She cleared her throat, taking off her shoes and sliding her jacket off of her shoulders. She hung it up and walked over to Benji. "Hi!" She smiled, putting the two Pepsi's on the table.
For a moment, she held her hands on each side of her face, staring out blankly. "It's pretty cold outside." She sat down on the couch with a heavy sigh, shivering. Once Aubry got cold, she stayed cold.
